in the DTI to implement stricter controls on a UK wide basis as the irresponsible
use of fireworks can seriously affect people’s quality of life and cause
at least inconvenience if not down right fear in the community.”
“Currently too many vendors are abusing
the code of practice which I find highly disappointing. They have not been
responsible enough to abide by the voluntary code and will now be subject
to stricter controls.” said Mr Wilson.
