What is a Weblog (Blog)

For Those Not Familiar With This Form of Web Communication/Interactivity

Publish Your Thoughts

A blog gives you your own voice on the web. It is a place to collect and share things that you find interesting — whether it is your political commentary, a personal thought on a given topic, or a subject of interest to the community.

Many people use a blog to list their own thoughts concerning issues which arise on a daily basis, while others command influential, worldwide audiences of thousands. Professional and amateur journalists use blogs to publish breaking news, while personal journalists reveal inner thoughts.

Get Feedback

The blogging experience is about not only putting your thoughts on the web, but hearing back from and connecting with other like-minded folks.

The Blog Comments let readers of the site from all over the world give feedback on what you share on your blog. The site administrator can choose whether or not to allow comments on a post-by-post basis (and can delete anything of an undesirable nature).

This type of feedback can, and often does, lead to a running discussion on any given topic where everyone presents their views against others comments.

Find People

Once you register, log in and fill in your profile details (a profile is not necessary) the Blogger Profiles let you find people and blogs that share your interests. And your profile lets people find you (but only if you want to be found).

Your Blogger Profile lists your blogs, your recent posts, and more. Clicking on interests or location takes you to other people's profiles, whose blogs you might enjoy.

And more...

The blogger program has a variety of ways one can easily enter, comment or update their blog besides the easy-to-use web interface:

Email Posting means you can send a message to the blog from your favourite email programme, your wireless device, or anything else that sends email.

You can also post photos to your blog with the tool provided in the program interface.

The interface also allows you to format your test in a Varity of different ways.
